Blackwell Publishing
Blackwell Publishing was the world's largest independent society publisher until its merger with Wiley's Scientific, Technical and Medical section at the start of 2007. The newly created Wiley-Blackwell publishes over 1,400 scholarly peer-reviewed journals and is a world leader in its field.
Since being commissioned to manage our first project on behalf of Blackwell in 2002, Brook Project Management went on to manage a large number of projects and two major change programmes, on behalf of this highly prestigious client.
One major change programme we were proud to manage was the establishing of a new Blackwell operation in Singapore. The operation was set up to handle the entire print and distribution requirements of over 540 of Blackwell's journals and this programme was successfully completed in 2006.
Having been involved with every element of the systems and processes implemented in Singapore, Project Consultancy has been appointed the sole UK representative for Blackwell Offshore Publishing Solutions.
