Case Study - Print Management
The Head of Publishing at The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists realised the print and distribution requirements of the society were being fulfilled in a fragmented way. There were a number of titles being produced, with each one the responsibility of a different department. Yet more departments required information for subscribers to be printed and inserted in the society's publications. A great number of printers was being used with the majority in the UK and a few in Singapore.
We were called in to assess the benefit to the bottom line of consolidating the society's requirements, in Singapore.
A thorough analysis of the needs of RCOG was carried out by Brook and those findings were then used to calculate the total costs that would be seen in Singapore, were the entire print and distribution requirements of the society fulfilled there.
The findings were presented in person to RCOG's Head of Publishing who expressed delight at both the level of detail contained in the report and the clarity of its presentation.
