Why Europe?
Affordability
The close proximity of our European neighbours makes mainland Europe the ideal choice for publishers who would like to receive the benefits of printing outside the UK but do not have the necessary distribution profile to make the savings of Asia reachable.
Quality
With a printing industry over 500 years old and governed by the same business rules, regulations and legislation as the printing industry in the UK, Europe represents as low-risk a destination for your print requirements as is possible to find.
Peace of mind
Intellectual property rights are protected, in the first instance, by community laws of the EU and secondly by the fact that virtually every state in Europe is a member of the both the World Trade Organisation and the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
Project Consultancy allocates work to 2 European printers who are both specialists in their chosen fields.
Our preferred option is a large, long-established printing company in Italy. We have selected them based on the range of services they can offer through their extra large format, 4, 5 and 6 colour, sheet-fed presses; from billboards to point-of-sale materials, to journal and magazine printing and distribution. This operation is perfect for almost everyone with a printing need and for whom the finish quality of the end product is the single-most important consideration.
When the scale of a publication’s print run necessitates the use of a web, we allocate the work to a printer in Poland who, we feel, offers the highest quality and most competitively priced web-offset service on the market. With 20 web-offset presses, (the largest of which is capable of printing 48-page signatures) and over 1,000 staff employed, we have the technology, capacity and, most importantly, expertise to fulfil your requirements as efficiently as possible.
The Environment
Alongside cost and quality considerations, we know that any modern publisher attaches great importance to environmental concerns.
Both our European partners have the same passion and the printer in Poland has invested heavily in the installation of a heat exchange system, which recovers the heat generated by the printing machine dryers and uses it to supply 95% of the company’s heat requirements.
In short, if your end subscribers are based locally, mainland Europe offers the most cost-efficient, high quality and environmentally-friendly printing available on the market.
