Set up of a brand new office

Scope of work:
Locate building (of approximately 15,000 ft2), negotiate lease with agents, identify and instruct a suitable build & design company for the office layout, oversee the fit-out, select and purchase furniture, install network cabling and telephone system, include a server room with suitable air conditioning.

From locating a suitable building in February the office was operational on the planned date in July for a prestigious opening ceremony.
 

Major Relocation of 400 staff

Scope of work:
Identify, through a tendering process, a suitable fit-out company, network cabling supplier, telephone supplier, IT specialists for moving and configuring large amounts of equipment.  Plan the move and manage staff communications.

The move was conducted in two phases with the final phase being completed between Christmas and New Year. The move was successfully completed on time and budget, with the building being fully operational from day one.
 

Business college relocation

Scope of work:
We were asked to help with the project management for the relocation of a local business college in Oxford.  The fit-out and move could only take place outside term time and it was vital that the premises were ready for students upon their return.

We attended planning meetings and monitored the progress throughout the fit-out.  We reported progress and advised where we felt a different approach may help.
