Why Singapore?

Business Oriented Culture

The presence in Singapore of over 7,000 multinational companies, of which more than 4,000 have their headquarters there, shows just how much Singapore is currently booming.

The World Economic Forum (WEF), in its Global Competitiveness Report 2005-06, ranks Singapore the 6th most competitive country in the world, (7 places above the UK).

Both the IMF and The World Bank have chosen to host their annual meetings for 2006 in Singapore.

Established Printing Industry

The printing industry in Singapore is long-established, highly successful and at the forefront of quality and service driven technological upgrades. As an industry, printing in Singapore generated revenue of 2,776.6 million SGD (Singapore Dollars), in 2005.

Excellent Transport Links

The geographical position of Singapore makes it a natural transport hub and this in turn makes it particularly attractive when you produce printed matter which needs distributing internationally.

Singapore has the world's largest sea port and is used by over 600 shipping lines. The total amount of sea cargo the port handled last year totalled 423.3 million freight tonnes.

Singapore airport handled nearly 2 million tonnes of freight last year and provides excellent passenger links to all parts of the world.

We believe that Singapore's world-renowned printing industry, combined with its excellent position and transport links, make it the perfect location from which to print and distribute journals and magazines.

Intellectual Property Protection

Intellectual Property Protection in Singapore is second to none and is a vital consideration when looking at the benefits of offshore printing. The WEF ranked Singapore top in Asia for IP protection for 3 years in a row, from 2002-04.
